Introductory Dive, or diving with full SCUBA gear under controlled conditions and under guidance of a seasoned dive professional, is how most divers get started in their new hobby. Chalong Sea Sport organizes Intro Dives for everybody in connection with our diving day trips.

How Intro Dives Work?

During your Intro Dive you will be able to use the SCUBA equipment. Your dive instructor will familiarize you with the basic controls of your equipment, and after about half-hour theory session you'll be fitted with your own SCUBA gear! At first we practise the basic skills at waist depth, and soon we'll be able to completely submerge under your instructors guidance. You'll be experiencing first hand the ease and joy of gliding weighless under water...

Your dive instructor will be close by at all times, ready to offer you any assistance you may need. Intro dives are always very shallow, safe and easy, and last for about 20-30 minutes.

Where?

You have several options to do your Intro Dive. You can join us for a relaxing day trip to Racha Yai Island, where we can do the Intro Dive from a really nice sandy beach. If you'd rather stay on the Phuket mainland, we can go for an Intro Dive on one of Phuket's nice and secluded beaches.

You don't need to worry about your Intro Dive -- diving is easy and fun, and you'll be in the good hands of a seasoned dive professional for the whole duration of your dive.

Requirements

The minimum age for diving is 10 years. Your health must be normal.

Price of a Introductory dive

During a day trip: 3500 THB /1 dive  4500 /2 dives

The price includes hotel transfers, boat transport, lunch, drinking water, coffee and tea, full diving gear, dive instructor.

Payment: We welcome VISA, MasterCard and cash

Our experience tells us that if you feel like giving diving a try, it's advisable to try to fit your intro dive to the first days of your vacation. Many of our guests have been "bitten by the diving bug" and have continued to the Open Water Course right after the Intro dive :)
