The liveaboard vessel M/V Blue Star is 27 meters in length, 6.60 meters in width and has a timber hull. The vessel is built as a pleasure craft. It features a large sundeck, lounge, five normal European-style toilets with fresh water shower and two showers on the dive deck, galley, dive deck and easy to step on ladders.

M/V Blue Star makes her home at Chalong Bay, where she is moored at her own berth.
Cabins
Sea Lion Class
Sea Lion Class cabins are comfortable for two divers.
These top deck cabins are equipped with fans and a fridge. Kitchen and restaurant are also located on the same deck.
Sea Horse Class
Sea Horse Class cabins are located on the second deck. Roomy and light cabins have central air conditioning and own fridge.
On the second deck located is a finnish sauna, the dive deck and a TV-room.
Sea Star Class
Sea Star Class cabins have double bed, a fridge and own air conditioning. These cabins suit perfectly for couples.
Cabins are located on the lowest deck of the boat.
What to bring?
You should bring along your own sun screen, towel, hat, sun glasses, swimming suit, dive certification and your dive log. You may also want bring your camera and a good book to enjoy.
The Menu
All liveaboard expeditions include full board, consisting of breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Drinking water, soft drink, coffee and tea for the whole day, fresh fruits are also included.
Our cuisine varies from day to day and it is normally tasty Thai food. If you have any special dietary considerations, such as vegetarian or low-lactose diet, we're happy to accommodate you, so please mention your preferences on the day before departure.
The boat has an ice box with soft drinks available for free. Beer is available after your last dive of the day for 60 THB.

 
Dive procedure
All of our dives are guided. An Dive Instructor or Dive Master will familiarize you with the boat, and once we reach our dive site, he will also brief you on the dive. Generally we dive in a group lead by instructor or divemaster. More experienced divers are free to form their own groups or buddy pairs. The vessel has a dive deck, where you can enter the water with 'giant stride' method. An easy to climb ladder with wide steps will make it easy to climb back on board. Our friendly deckhands will help you handle your gear. If you surface away from the boat, the boat or the dinghy will pick you up.
Other equipment
All boats in our fleet are fully appointed dive vessels. M/V Blue Star has a VHF-radio for ground station communication, DAN-approved first aid kit, medical oxygen, air compressor and GSM telephones.
Cabins are nice and cosy two or three person cabins. There is an electrical light and electric outlets for your video- and camera equipment.
The sundeck is ideal for enjoying sun bathing. Do remember to use sun screen with healthy and strong protection factors and drink enough liquids!
